As you can see ( from the title) we got the bungalow we wanted, and it’s now time to pack up 21yrs here which had 4 children and us parents here, to something smaller just for us two, in our later crone years.

As you can imagine, this entails lots of skip runs, charity drop offs, and big emotions throughout. Its immensely hard to get rid of such memories, and treasured items, but needs must to fit into a much smaller property.

Though you can see a shed here in photos, this has actually been removed, so our first thing to do is replace it, we have a wooden one Mr Moon built himself, with a view to building an even bigger shed, for tools, roofbox etc.

Looking forward to a more manageable garden for us too. Though I will miss our epic wildlife here, we have foxes, hedgehogs, squirrels and birds. Let’s hope we can get decent insects, frogs and birds. Plus it’s newer, fresher, and hopefully not leaky or prone to flooding like our one here, which gave us mould issues and destroying things with flooding.

I can honestly say the new process to rent a property here wasn’t easy, its been weeks of references and checks, lots of stress and anxiety around that. Hell even some estate agents wanted all this just to view the properties too.
