We decided to spoil ourselves by getting a walking pad for inside the house, to be able to keep up some gentle walking for me, and running for Mr Moon.

But I think I may have bit off more than I can chew. I was hoping to correct my trendelenburg gait, wearing my insoles (in trainers) as you cant use a walking stick, but i do hold on to the handles. (I know you aren’t meant too, but I need to build up strength)

Setting it up
Right knee and ankle are suffering. Both are swollen, tender to touch and have a giving away sensation.

I’ve never done long on there as after even a couple of minutes at a slow speed, the burning pain is apparent in the right hip, and knee and ankle. I have tried a 9% incline but I feel that has to go too. As the pain is unreal.

After a few days of doing this, the knee as swollen up so I will need to stop entirely. And maybe reintroduce it at 2mins, even slower and no incline at all. And hope I can build up strength and stamina.

I have had un diagnosed knee issues before, and got it to settle down, then when I sprained my ankle I felt the knee twist again, so its been on and off since then (14 weeks ago) but with 3 tries on the walking pad its got infinitely worse, so bad in fact I’m tempted to ring Micats and see what the physio say. I do have a face to face appointment on 16th Feb. But I’m not sure I can wait that long.
