Boiling hot week and it coincided with children’s half term and bank holiday. So that meant everywhere is packed so we stayed local.

Managed to get out walking again and we were treated to a Kingfisher and Shrew (too fast to photograph)

Nice to get out and about. I had compression socks on though and patellar strap for knee.
Still doing the exercises as requested by physiotherapist. The snapping tendon is still happening when I bend and put weight on affected knee. Sometimes it feels like it wants to give way.

How swollen the knee was after walking.

The pain comes and goes depending on activity levels. But that weakness on bending and loading feels here to stay. So something I want to keep an eye on.

It has been a week of wildlife that instantly makes a walk uplifted and 100% better, even if you are in pain and suffering. I wish walking wasn’t such a painful affair.
Sunshine has meant I can do physio outside. Which is rather nice.
