This year we didn’t do anything away from home, as I’ve been suffering health wise that meant travel wasn’t an option.

Instead I had my morning brew to the sunrise in my own garden.

While I really mentally wanted to go, hindsight it was the right decision not to go. As much as that pains me to say.
We walked down to our local park on the monday to stretch our legs but not be too far from home.

Met some wildlife along the way, some cows desperately trying to get through the gate at teatime.

A family of mallard ducks and their growing ducklings (almost adult size now) and finally rescued a peacock butterfly caterpillar off the path (so he couldn’t be trodden on)

Sometimes we have to accept we don’t have the energy or health to do the things we want to do. So celebrate the little ways you can celebrate the turning of the wheel instead.
