Its just not improving or less painful. So I’ve had to go back to the GP and we’ve put in for an mri. I swear I feel like I live here lately!!

I hate mris at the best of time and even more so now I’m full of metal, but needs must. As the clicking, snapping and its starting to get hard to straighten if bent for a while, or bend it after being straight a while.

Walking after being sat down or in bed the whole leg feels unstable and locked up. So in my opinion its getting worse.

Knee is so much wider and less shape than the longer leg knee.

I’m sure it will be a while until I hear from them. So while I wait I will continue with physio and doing what exercises I can wearing the patellofemoral strap as that really helps.

All this is having a knock on effect on the hips and back. So much so I now need to get a new walking stick for the otherside as this is officially my bad leg. Using my usual stick makes the leg buckle and my waddle worse. Hence it now affecting my hips and back.  I can’t just swap hands as its an orthopaedic moulded handle for my arthritis hands 🤦🏽‍♂️.

Ideally foldable though I confess I’ve rarely folded mine up!!
