Since I’ve been dairy free life has massively improved, I feel so much better and back to myself.
But I had to carry on and have blood tests for gluten and thyroid just to be sure. And Boom just like that I’m actually a Coeliac!! Early days for me as it was literally only 13th August I was told.

Plan is to be referred to Gastro for more tests and possible biopsy. But in the mean time I am meant to stay eating gluten until then.

I have been reading up and researching, I’ve learnt you need 3 things to become Coeliac. 1, you need to be eating gluten. 2, you have a gene, 3, a trigger starts it off, a pregnancy, menopause (me), an illness, stress.
I have also learnt I have to use separate tools and toaster to stop cross contamination as of course My husband is free to eat gluten.
So while I can eat gluten for now, until the next set of tests. I will be teaching myself how to find the labels on foods and work out what is accidentally Gluten Free as specific Gluten Free foods are quite expensive here.
I think once I’ve had my gastro appointment I think they will want to reintroduce dairy slowly into my diet. As menopausal female with bone issues will need Calcium from somewhere.
