Hipster

Hippie girl, going through recovery, and life. Follow my journey of Spiritual growth and health.

Its Physio time, and hopefully I will be given some advice although I’m not hugely confident in this new physio I have.

At least I have found some beneficial exercises that have been done over this last week.

For advice I haven’t torn the other knee like I had feared as it was painful after going downstairs. Need to remember BAD LEG TO HELL, GOOD LEG TO HEAVEN. Instead I’ve strained it. So thats good news. So the advice is to rest, ice and elevate and compress when I can.

Referral is done and I should hear by 17th Nov if I haven’t then I should ring them.

Surgery options he sees for me are

Either a repair or removal of the torn meniscus.

Worse case scenario I think for me is a replacement as this is worry with the hip replacements. And would I need to speak to hip consultant to see what he says?
