Hipster

Hippie girl, going through recovery, and life. Follow my journey of Spiritual growth and health.

Wow what can I say? Except I’m astounded with the flexibility this is giving me back. Even though I’ve heavily adapted the moves to suit a double hippie (I’m not daring to dislocate these babies) o have definitely gained so much in such a short space of time.

From Day 1 to Day 12

Definitely ask your surgeon or physiotherapist before you embark on any exercise. And only do what your body allows you to do. Some people have restrictions after a hip replacement so please adhere to them, I have none but I’m still extremely careful.

The difference between feeling like a plank of wood doing static exercises from physio, to feeling more fluid and flexible has had a profound effect on my mind and body. Feeling less like a broken doll and more ‘normal’ and it’s amazing!!

It’s a real eye opener doing it, I was so sure it wasn’t for me with replacements.
